Tandy Hastings-Ison

Paediatric Physiotherapist

Since graduating in 1992, Tandy has gained physiotherapy experience both with adults in public and private health as well as with children in a wide range of paediatric services. Focusing in paediatrics, she has worked with children in both educational environments as well as in the home or care setting. Working within multidisciplinary teams in children's services has fostered strong links with allied therapies involved in children's and family health.

Tandy has completed additional study in the area of child health, providing a balanced approach alongside the medical model view of children's well-being. Presently, Tandy is completing Research in the area of muscle function in children.

Sessional physiotherapists working in paediatrics are also integral members of the 'Physio for Kids' team.

In addition to paediatric physiotherapy, recognition is given to the more holisitic needs of children and their families. Complementary therapies to assist in physical well-being are provided on a sessional basis by registered Naturopath, Ann Bethel (ND. RN. Assoc. ACNEM, ATMS 6469) who has a particular interest in babies and children's health.
